Simple in design, this quart jar with a screen on top is perfect for performing varoaa mite counts on your hives.  Simply add bees, powdered sugar and shake.  The bees can then be let out unharmed and the sugar inspected for mites.  This is also useful for doing a shake from the top of the hive.
