Our Story
In 2020, we harvested our first 20 pints of honey in our kitchen with a crank extractor and the supers from our two hives. This year we increased to five hives after spring splits.
Today, Schwartzee Bees has grown to care for over ten hives and builds and sells quality honey and beekeeping equipment.
We started our business in 2019. With only two hives built from scratch, and a couple of bees from our neighbor. After countless hours of research, tutorials, and preparation, we were finally beekeepers.
By 2021, we had eight hives, continued to build our hive components from scratch, and sold our first jar of honey. This was a big year for the company!
